Unless the results aren't going to be posted in a new thread which seems unlikely. Then someone's going to come along and cause that one to be locked too.
I'm fairly new to the forums and all, so pardon my asking, but what exactly are the requirements that denote 'effort'?
I could puzzle that much out for myself. I was just wondering where exactly the cut-off lay between 'complete waste of time' and 'this took effort'.
Fair enough, though

Fair enough, thoughwell i mean just look at white: the game, it has zerp effort. 0. none. not at all. compared to maybe another game say, imagine we have one where its text the collides idk and um makes noise to get coins who knows, at least that had effort put into it more so then a white screen

I'm fairly new to the forums and all, so pardon my asking, but what exactly are the requirements that denote 'effort'?I think the only contest with that rule was this one: http://smilebasicsource.com/forum?ftid=1366, and they just said:
Everyone who enters an acceptable** entry will receive participation badges. ... **Your entry must have at least some effort put into it. They will not be given out to entries which were obviously made only to receive the badge. But I think we should use something more easily provable. I'm worried that more people are going to start submitting entries that do nothing. I don't think we got any until the previous contest, and this time I know there's at least one. Basically we'd need a requirement like "your game has to actually get input from the user and DO something"
