I've not used one myself, but notohoho tweeted a few pics of it running with keyboard support and all. The smaller screen can be a teensy bit cramped, mostly fonts in some places, and he suggested himself that a couple of elements might need to be enlarged a bit for the smaller screen. Lack of detachable Joycons, lack of rumble, etc. But... you know those!!

Google translate says the theme is sudden. Anyone bilingual know if that is accurate. Any ideas for the theme would also be appreciated. I should do something since I went to all the trouble to get the program early.

It's not accurate. It's actually tough to pin down exactly what it means, since it's apparently regional slang, but it's something like "stylish" or "sophisticated", apparently.

There's gonna be a US port probably within a year, that would just be wasted effort. They even plan to add English mode to the Japanese version for people who have bought it import.

Arduino will work. Had a little trouble getting mine set up, but if you remember to send the initial packet saying, "Hi, I'm a keyboard!" you'll be fine.
