I know I keep saying that this game is super pretty, but thats because its true! Still pictures seriously dont do justice to it. It's so much better in motion. Just spinning the camera around is so much fun to look at.
Speaking of the game, could someone modify the game into a Sonic type speed platformer? That would be a bit of a feat, but I can really see it. I really hope people use this engine to make some other games!
I can't say that the Sports Tag makes much sense with this. Neither does Adventure but to a lesser extent; You guys do police Tag stuff dontcha? (Looks at own pages lol)
Could you make a library using this kind of 3d rendering? Or possibly make a resource for this kind of rendering? That would be great for one of the projects I am working on.
Well, I went and beat it in one sitting. Shame on me.
The standard controls worked well enough for me. Also, I noticed some neat possible custom level making tools that I may get into now that I have a (legitimate) VIP key.
My biggest critique comes from the sliders in the option menus.
They're intuitive for some things, but precision is not one of them.

I like the control changes.
Once again, the graphic interface or whatever is in the settings is so beautiful.
[EDIT]: I love the other control option. Also, assuming you removed the requirement of saving in between stages on my behalf, thank you. I actually "gave the game a chance" and, gosh, it's so amazing. I have, yet, another control suggestion. It's assigning the music changing button in control option 2 to R rather than ZL. Users without a New 3DS will be able to use that feature in the second option of controls (also R seems to be doing ABSOLUTELY nothing in that option so I'm... really thinking it's a good idea, maybe).
[EDIT 2]: I wish automatic scrolling for the camera could be turned off in control option 2. I want to mention that I love the layout of settings all that is in there (I tried to crash the calculator thing, actually, but you seemed prepared). Also, on a POSSIBLY unrelated note, I may despise the number 6 and anything related to sandwiches.
I agree that the sandwhich level is a little silly. It forces the player to take advantage of something that doesnt look right/looks like a glitch, to proceed, and I feel thats not very good level design.
Any tips on beating level 7? I still cant get through...

Even though it relies on a glitch, the intended path is pretty easy to see (It's the longest route), so it wasn't that hard for me.
There are three bugs in control system 2:
1: the camera tilts when you are moving in a direction that isn't straight
2: sometimes, the camera will try to move to behind the player, but it will rotate in the wrong direction.
3: moving backwards doesn't work
Additionally, I would prefer that L and R be used to jump/prevent sliding, to allow the camera to be more easily adjusted.
Perhaps there could be an option for what system to use for moving and adjusting the camera, and separate options for the other controls (jump, change music, reset player, etc.)
Dying while inside a spinning water block causes you to respawn in the wrong location:
VE5X23H4
Describe that one, please.
It's the first level where you Glide.
Oh. I'm stuck on that one, too.
Spoiler
you just have to hold X lol

or press forward, depending on your controller configuration. the block to the right is relevant
Yeah I noticed the precision thing too, there isn't really a simple solution to it, so what I did was I added buttons above the crucial sliders, which allows you to use the calculator to input the exact value for the slider. The movement sliders are just there to give a general idea of where an object should go, then the buttons to finalize the position... that was my way of looking at it atleast.

Heh thank you .v.
A racing/Sonic type platformer would be amazing with this engine :o

Hm, thanks for the feedback, never really thought about it like that but its true (for the sandwich level)... hm
Ill work a bit more on the second control scheme, it still doesn't super usable

There's a bug(?) where the camera still rolls when you push the circle pad sideways
Yeah at first I thought it was a good idea, but I think it would be best to remove the camera roll thing for the circle pad
