Perhaps tie it to the revision of the page at the time of commenting, since I believe content under the current (and new) system gets a new "version number" every time it is edited. Basing it on the key field is a good idea, though, because page revisions could be extremely minor. However this breaks down if people use "Multiple" or "See page" in the key text.

People shouldn't be putting other things in the key field anyway though. But speaking of multiple keys, we should have more support for them (a standard format, at least). I recommend "KEY1 KEY2 KEY3" (space separated). And there should be a way to get a list of all the keys on the site. Oh, and a way to have page tags with spaces in them.

Yes, the new site should use a restful api or something.

“Is that a feature or did I only start work on it before?” Where is the instruction for this API? (pretty curious now even if http requests are above me)

this has been suggested more times than I've been banned, including the sockpuppet lockout ban (okay that may be an exaggeration I've been banned so many times!) sorry i didn't realize that you meant me by TITB also you can block people in the activity feed with a sitejs command you just need to know the user id of the person you're trying to block speaking of you saying i'm annoying, i still don't get how i'm annoying? is it just because i try to make this website better by trying to be funny? well, that makes sense (that was sarcasm btw, hence the italics) or is it because i post a lot..wait, that actually does make sense _______________________________________________NEW POST______________________________ i think you should be able to use BBCode in profile descriptions.

    1. JavaScript isn't my thing 2. I don't really care about BBCode although it might be important. [invalid user detected="CyberYoshi64" reason="inaccurate reply"]

  • #777 ✎ 221 Shelly This might be stupid (I need to take a look at some stuff to confirm this). It seems as if some browsers on older systems can't view SmileBASICSource simply because it uses md4 (or was it md5?) hashes, which some browsers don't support due to it being insecure. Could a partial site-rewrite fix this by using a more modern system, and thus improve compatibility. Posted

It's nothing to do with MD5. It's because the 3DS doesn't support TLS 1.2 so it can't visit sites using that, and since SmileBASIC Source's HTTPS service is provided by CloudFlare, and we have no control over what CloudFlare does with our TLS, we can't do anything except tell you to use HTTP instead of HTTPS. TL;DR You just can't use HTTPS, everything else should work in High Compat.
