Site Updates [OLD]

Site update 1/16/16:

• "Last post" on forum category and thread lists now links to the last post
• User stars updated. Black stars indicate all powers for that star, white stars indicate partial powers.
• Fixed announcements not getting removed from notifications when visiting them (if setting enabled)

Site update 1/24/16:

• Created a new websocket library for the chat.
• Completely refactored chat to work with new library

This is very important! The chat has been basically completely rewritten. I got rid of the old super unstable library and created my own. I need your help: if you notice ANYTHING weird happening in the chat that wasn't happening before, PLEASE let me know in the bug thread. Examples are:

• Getting disconnected more often
• Constant message lag (even though your internet is fine)
• Leaking or missing messages
• Incorrect userlist (people are there when they're not in the chat)
• Incorrect message order
• Repeat messages
• Modules not working
• The server crashes and you are unable to connect

Site update 1/25/16:

• Fixed various chat issues
• Fixed errors while posting an announcement thread (lag, then fake error)

Update 2:

• Fixed userlist issues in chat
• Fixed memory and threading issues in chat
• Added "/debuginfo" chat command in case you want to see useless information about the chat session.

How ish /debuginfo usheless? We can look at random unkown information about the chat.

So do you think you could make a new emote that's and call it (nogood)? Because everyone is doing it.

Site update 1/28/16:

• Fixed chat bug where reaching the max message scrollback would cause the window to scroll even when not at the bottom.
• Added an option to display unlimited chat messages. WARNING! If you disable limited chat messages, your chat could slow down significantly after building up a lot of messages in a single session.

• Fixed an error when trying to view non-existent forum categories
• Fixed an error when trying to post on non-existent forum categories
• Fixed an error where users that weren't fully registered could still post on the website.

NOTE! A lot of backend stuff has changed! If any submission based things don't work for you, please let us know!

Site update 2/1/16:

• Added Administration page so you can see who the admins are and what the stars actually mean. You can find the Administration page under "About" at the bottom of any page.
• Added user powers to user pages so you can see what a user can do from their page. For instance, if you check out Perska's page, you'll see he has the announcement and staff chat powers.

More admin stuff to come.

Site update 2/2/16:

• 4 star users can now set individual permissions for any user. Lumage, that's you... go to a user page and you should be able to set individual permissions. Be careful: if you do this to yourself, it is irreversible.
• Bans cannot be taken off yourself anymore; lower admins can ban upper admins if they're stepping out of line. If issues arise, speak with another admin to undo the ban just like a regular user.
• Swapped around some powers
• 5 star users _{have some ^{extra powers.}}

I may work on private messages soon so people can more easily contact the admins. Edit: As a reminder, check Administration to see current admins and what they can do for you.

Old Man in SMG4 videos : "FIX IT, FIX IT, FIX IT!" Ya know, old people stuff... Oh and random, something keeps signing me out. I never sign out, clear my history (;0), or do anything with chrome on phone nor computer. It's probably something on my end though.

Are you set to delete cookies on browser close? Check your settings. Or, using incognito mode. That'll probably do it.
