I am making a new page for AfterWar so that I can have control of it while restarting its development. There’s going to be a couple edits to this while I copy everything from Swanbot’s page to this one. Swanbot agreed to this, so don’t hate on me lol Development and Discussion Thread [poll=p202][/poll] This is the testing version of AfterWar, if you don't like or want an unfinished testing version of this game, then just keep waiting for the release of the game. But if you would like to test for glitches or just give ideas, you’re welcome to take this key. Not much to say here, but if you want to know something in particular, just ask me. Beware of memes in the future.

Instructions:

A to open doors and perform various tasks B to fire backwards X to pause currently Y to fire bullets L to turn of flashlight R to turn on the aimer thingy Touch-Screen for upcoming button and many things to come Circle -Pad to move around D-Pad yet to be used Start/Select to ultimately end the entire game DUN DUN DUN!!! more stuff coming eventually.

Notes:

UPCOMING UPDATE: The first update I plan on having for this is fixing up the source code for the game. I looked through the code and I could finally remember why we had stopped making the game: everything was super confusing. So for the update, I plan to make the code much more readable to the creators as well as any viewers. This will include: Ending large IF statements with ENDIF when needed, adding more open space throughout the code for easy reading, and plenty of comments, to know what does what and when it does it. I’ll update this when the update if finished, and I’ll also turn this into a changelog as well I suppose. It will be a really good game once it's done, but soon we will start gameplay, and you MAY get a beta or demo, but that’s still a while away. (A long while lol). Oh, if anybody that was on the, err, “team” that made this program, just say so. I doubt there’s anybody left from that thing, but I’ll always be open for new helpers (as long as I think they’ll contribute nicely to the project; Picy added pretty much anyone who wanted to join to the team back then, and it led to a giant amount of people doing just about nothing, so I’ll try not to do the same thing). Currently all I remember is that Picy and Me are the only creators of this. (With the exception of Warrior, who left the team awhile back).

I can help out with difficult bugs and "dead ends", and maybe a little optimization.

Like I said in the discussion thread, I think you could really help with the making of AW, so you’re on the “team”. I think three people should be enough for the team, except for a couple of testers for whenever I have a potential update ready.

AfterWar 0.3 is a good showcase of what you are going for with the game however, I do think that you guys should at least try to update this once every month to complete this game. I do realize the game is currently in testing, but please do try to update this monthly at least, as I am looking forward to the finished product of AfterWar -An extremely fast written review of AfterWar (Currently in testing) 0.3

Err, thanks for the review. As you said, it is in testing still, so i wasn’t exactly expecting any reviews or such. But I am planning on making an update at least every months until the full release, so thanks. The next one should be coming in a couple days, actually. I’m just waiting on something from SwanBot and then it should be out fairly soon. If you want to know what this update is adding (which isn’t much) you can look at the notes for the game. Actually, I might have to change up the update notes slightly, because Swan added some stuff for the enemy that I wasn’t expecting.

TL;DRGimme suggestions of what to do since picy is basically gone or offer to help with the game.
So uhh I’m kinda at a loss right now. I can almost never get in contact with picy (for like over a month now), and that has really slowed me down with getting this update out. I started working on the actual game (story, etc.) but the storyline picy gave me has some very big plot holes that I’m not sure how to work around. Basically (hope picy won’t take offense to this) I’m looking for another person to help with the story and possibly even some part of making the game. I know spaceturtles is technically on the team, but now that the screenshot update is out, and I can just ask for help in chat, his role was pretty much lost. Idk, I could use some suggestions right now; it seems like there’s a road block in every direction except getting a new member.
