What's your current project and how is it going?

I'm making a game called Just One More Question(JOMQ for short). It's inspired by Phoenix Wright and an old PTC game called Obinov. I could use some help... Right now, _Alex_ is helping me(kinda). You play as a news gatherer and solve mysteries.
I wouldn't mind helping anyway I could!

Also, Petit Village was fun. I hope you could (A) Make things a bit cheaper. and (B) make things a bit faster/easier/less painful.

  • SmileBYTES
DetailsSmileBYTES is a bytecode language for SB. This is my only major team project, being worked on by me and RaichuBender.
  • What's Bytecode?
If you have to ask, it's useless to you. But basically, it's a way to turn code into numbers.

Thanks! EDIT: PM me of things you can do to help! It's going to be very first person with graphics resembling that of Phoenix Wright. I actually need most help with the plot and mysteries...

Just One More Question makes me think of "just one more thing..." which was the signature phrase of Columbo on the TV movie series Columbo. If you like Phoenix Wright, you might like Columbo, he is basically Dick Gumshoe with the shabby jacket and all, except secretly a genius who always gets his man. He acts like a polite, bumbling dummy but keeps the pressure up on the perpetrators until they get really annoyed/paranoid and slip up. I would recommend checking it out for ideas for good mysteries and clues for your game! It's on Netflix.

Making a Dragon Warrior-ish RPG, Game Boy graphics style. Graphics and code all my own.
    vedy cool, vedy cool.

+1 for Columbo. It's classic detective TV.

...Oh...! That's what it's similar to! I thought about it briefly. I've seen the show and I really liked it.

Still working on Space Race! here and there, but I generally get the feeling that no one cares about tech demos.

I'm programming a tower defense game that...isn't going to well anymore. I'll try to work on it though.

I have a few projects from Petit I want to make but never actually started. On active projects, mostly I am working on my map editor, don't have any others yet.

A top down rpg called the legend of sion that takes place in a land I named sion and it starts out by you being a kings son and you are woken up by a mysterious figure telling you to save your father because he is in grave danger ,but once you get there He is kidnaped. the piont of the game is to get your father back . It's going realy well I just need to get back to it.

I'll respond I guess. Still working on N#. Currently, since the language itself is pretty much complete, I'm adding a few more classes (like a BigInt library). After that, I'm porting what I have of Vieger (4D platformer) to N# and finish that up. Then...well I actually don't know what I want to do after that.

Ooh, that looks really cool! Keep it up, will ya? :P

Me? Still working on my Game Boy emulator and some 3D stuff.

I'm currently working on an OS, ZOS. I take pride in it as it's more OS-like than most mock OSes are. It's going pretty well, ignoring the obvious fact that it will probably be broken on the o3DS due to speed. And many security issues (not major ones, but a program can stop the OS with a WAIT or WAITOS and other stuff like that). But besides those issues, it's going fabulously. But I need to work on a lot of things before 1.0 can be done.

I guess I'm going back to working on SmileOS, the Syobon Action port has no more interest to me. :P

I have put my text adventure on hold for a bit to work on the battle system a bit more. I want to add some magic and items before continuing. Its not going too smooth atm.

"Gameboy emulator". How funny. I mean, WHAT?! How on earth...? How do you plan to run this thing?

I am working on a mini side project fruit game now :P It's falling fruit!
