What would you think about unobtrusive advertisements?

Turn on admin approval of accounts until he gets bored and goes away to find another site to annoy. Or you can complain to his ISP and see if they'll do something about it. This sort of behaviour is against the terms of service his parents agreed to when signing up, and I'm sure they'd be overjoyed to have to find another service provider because of their "little darling's" actions. Also, never engage a troll in direct conversation, as you're giving them the attention they crave. Good luck :-/

I don't think you understand. I've complained to his ISP twice. I can't control users giving him attention, so all I can do is ban his account. He will NOT get bored; he's been doing this for months. I IP banned his house, his school, and various other places, and he still comes back. He will NOT GET BORED. Even if I turn on admin approval, he will spam us with hundreds of accounts that we'll have to sift through. You don't understand his insanity.

Wow. You're right, I didn't understand. It sounds like you've done everything that you can do, short of contacting the police. I don't know where you live, but if it's in a country with laws against harassment, then perhaps you could take this further? It's sad for me to see you almost at your wit's end as a result of this childish cry for attention. One other thing you could try before that is to block registrations using throwaway email addresses. Search Google for temporary email providers. There's one I've used, which I can't remember the name of, when testing user registration functionality on websites I build; which gives you a random email address and web-based interface, without the need to authenticate. I wish you the best of luck dealing with this.
