Spinning Cubes

Nobody knows the reason why, the cube columns fall infinitely. You have to avoid being fully stacked by cubes by vanishing them.

Instructions:

A cube column (three stacked cubes) is launched from the top of the screen. The launching point is indicated by finger pointer, you can move it with D/circle pad before launching. Move a cube column with left, right or down of D/circle pad. Pause / Unpause with X button. Spin all cubes in a column with A or B button. * Vertical spin hasn't been available any more in the newest version. If more than three cubes which show you same color surface are aligned vertically, horizontally or diagonally, they vanish. Sometimes roulette cube column appears. When it touches down, the color fixes, and all cubes which show you same color surface as the fixed color vanish.

Oh sorry I've not heard of the game which you've mentioned yet. If the public key exists, it must be available not only in Japan but also in the US.

This sample program was only playable at Tokyo Game Show (correct me if I'm wrong) and was never released anywhere.

Like chicken says, we can exit the games with holding down the start button. However, in my opinion, the start button on the old 3DS isn't unfit for holding down, because it is short stroke membrane button.

Start isn’t even programmable, it’s Select that’s programmable, using the same button number as start in early versions of SB3.

You can't even really program SELECT even if we can detect it, since it takes a screenshot as soon as you press it. That's an easy way to fill someone's SD Card.

There’s actually a photo cap on 3ds for some reason. Also, it still detects it if the SD Card is full of photos.

Regardless, if it's not full mapping a function to select will take a screenshot every time, which will cause it to get full.

I believe the number for pictures left is the estimate of how many pictures you can take before there’s no room on the System Memory/SD card. When I upgraded my SD card, the number increased.

Don’t you mean If the US gets it? There are currently no plans to bring it to US and Europe.

It will happen. Petit computer and SmileBASIC have arrived in the US before. It’s highly possible that the planning is underway. Not that I’m saying I can confirm it. But seeing that SmileBASIC arrived in Japan in 2016 and then the US in 2017. It’s highly possible that in the year 2019 we’ll get it. I can’t promise anything though.

Smileboom announced that they will launch SmileBASIC for Nintendo Switch in this autumn in Japan. I guess it'll also arrive in the US. However, the launch of the new software often delays. Petit computer 3 (SmileBASIC in Japan) launched one year after Smileboom's first announcement. Let's wait patiently.

SB was released in 2014 in Japan and 2015 in US, I believe. I know for sure it wasn’t released in 2017 in US because i have an American 3DS and started using SB in 2016.
