Yay updates yay

This program doesn't work for me. Any file I try to load I get a type mismatch error... I have no idea how to fix this...

That happened to me twice, but pressing the Y button again a third time seems to work...

Yeah, I'm going to wait until I upgrade my 3DS and use my old one to do this in case they ban homebrewers from the store.
How would they detect that you're using homebrew? I don't see any way unless the size in the header doesn't match the size of the program, and that can easily be fixed by simply opening and saving the program in SB.
I honestly don't know, there could be so many ways I'm unaware of. I just don't want to risk a permaban with the only 3DS I have!

What does this mean for the world of SmileBASIC!?
Means everyone is going to brick their 3DS trying to get homebrew.
^_^ that could very well happen, Hm. 10 dollars says someone complains about a brick within the next two months.

You'd have to screw up really REALLY REALLY badly to have even a small chance of bricking your system with this.

Nice to see you have made progress on the header/footer (sorry I was no help there). Does this mean you're closer to releasing a version that strips it when copying out, and re-applies one when copying in? That's when your program will start to really shine - even if the header/footer data does not correspond with the real world, as long as SB doesn't think of the file as corrupt.

I made an image for the header update but Trinitro decided not to use it. http://i.imgur.com/d8zzR72.png

I'm working on it. Shouldn't be too hard. Just header and footer injection if there isn't a file present will pose a bit of a challenge.

I wonder why he didn't choose it...

^_?, funny image, thats what the internet calls a meme.

So, Mr. Trinitro? Is it possible to make new programs from this? If not then, I guess its back to just making blank programs, dumping them, editing them with notepad++, restore them with this application and then run/edit the program in SB. LEL, kekekekekekekekkekekekekek.

I had a dream there was an update to smash that bricked your 3ds if it detected any methods of homebrew. I wonder if nitendo is looking to do something like that soon.

I don't think they would brick your 3DS... I'm terrible at super smash brothers (and fighting games in general) so I wouldn't really mind. (It would be pretty funny though)

Is it possible to load pictures from your 3ds SD card and save them as a spritesheet?

Is there a way to use 3ds SD card images without homebrew or modem?

NOPE.

I was just wondering :(

Is it possible to load pictures from your 3ds SD card and save them as a spritesheet?
With this tool, yes; however you have to edit GRP files. It's not that hard, though. Copy and paste. http://www.smilebasicsource.com/page?pid=69 should help you a lot.

Could someone make a video showing how to do this? I don't understand.
