I decided to take a short break from my current project and attempt the No "S" Challenge. The challenge is to make an original program without using the letter S. I've made a simple platforming game as an example to see what I could do.
Using anything that generates the letter "S" in the command CALL is also banned. This command would easily allow the user to get around the point of this challenge.
Oh, and if you get a key containing "S" you automatically fail
i would say something new just because i know it would be still as awesome as the others, but.. those choises.. so good..
Oh... well I guess it's all tied up... At least I ran the poll on Miiverse. Based on those votes, there's a two way tie between "Dev Tool" and the unnamed platformer. Based on the COMMENTS on that post, it looks like "Dev Tool" won 5 - 4. I'll be working on that!
Can $ be used?
So instead of "Something" you can say "$omething"
Yeah... but "CHR$(83)+"omething"" would work better
I said "CHR$(83)" can't be used within CALL(). But everything else is fine.
