Myers-Briggs Personality Type Poll

Root / General / [.]

haloopdyCreated:
I want to know where people on the website sit on the Myers-Briggs personality chart. All you have to do is follow this image (right click and open in new tab if it's too small): [img alt=Myers-Briggs Chart]http://cdn0.vox-cdn.com/assets/4738568/MyersBriggsTypes.png Just look at each of the four categories, pick one of the two letters, and come up with your 4 letter code. For instance, if you're extroverted, intuitive, feeling, and judging, then you're ENFJ. Then just pick a choice from this nifty poll: [poll=p5][/poll] Remember, you can only vote in a poll once! Be careful with your choice!

::ridiculously happy yuuka::

There is no inbetweens argh.... I think I would be EN?P I'm iffy on the last two categories.

I understand F to be more common.. Or find a quiz somewhere if you really want to know.

I'm INTP.

I'm INTP.
Hm, that's 3 so far. Lots of I*TP here, interestingly. I*T* accounts for 58% of votes so far, which, if all personality types had the same chance, is over twice the norm. Guess it makes sense, since programmers are introverted thinkers lol.

I'm ENFP. I think that's about right for me.

ISFP, But i'm kind of a mix of the all the middle ones (S and F).

ISTP Not really sure about introverted though; I can be social in a comfortable environment readily enough, but it has to be COMFORTABLE. Everything else was more or less accurate.

ISFJ/ISFP. why is there no in-betweens or whatever they're called J is 10%, P is 90%. Not sure why I chose J tho.

A quiz reveals that I should have picked INTP

But do you agree with the description of INTP? It's more about what you agree with rather than what a quiz tells you.

A lot of the quizzes are slightly biased, but it helps when you're not being completely honest about how you really are. If you feel very strongly about the description... it's probably right. The attributes on Random's chart suck, though.

Lol the attributes on random's chart that I chose (ISTJ) Definitely lines up with my personality better than the description for INTP. I was also thinking that I may have just been seeing what I want to see in myself with the chart, but looking them over I chose well.

The attributes on Random's chart suck, though.
IDK, it worked for me. It's hard to verify that the other type attributes line up, considering I don't intimately know thousands of people and their MBTI. I'm sorry if your type doesn't line up with the stated attributes on the chart; I thought this chart was the easiest to understand and use while still being informative.

Actually, according to the data I've seen, J and P are pretty equally distributed (with slightly more leaning towards J). Unless that's not what you were getting at, in which case I'm sorry. Either way, don't worry about the numbers. Just pick the one you feel most comfortable with, not the one that seems better. http://www.myersbriggs.org/my-mbti-personality-type/mbti-basics/judging-or-perceiving.htm

ISFP.

Well, so far the results are mostly as I expected. Look at all those introverts (79%)! I like that there's an equal number of Thinking vs. Feeling and Sensing vs. Intuition. It'd be nice to get more people to do the poll, but I know the chances are slim. Thanks for the votes!

too bad humans can't see in 4 dimensions then we could visualize the results that way though I guess we could ignore I/E and show it as a cube...

Humans (moat humans) can easily perceive 6 dimensions. 3 spatial, and 3 colour.
