Battery died... I think I'll need to buy a new battery since it's bulging now and doesn't seem to last as long. So I guess leaving your 3DS on for 2 months WILL damage the battery. Or Nintendo just used shitty batteries on the n3DSXL, like they did with every other part.

you could build/adapt your own power supply and plug it into the wall

Is there a reason why you guy aren't just using SmileBASIC in the Citra 3DS emulator for this? Someone with a good computer could emulate the 3DS at a faster-than-normal speed, since Citra supports sped-up emulation.

Modern problems require modern solutions

better yet build a fusion reactor and plug that into the wall

Does the 3DS always use power from the battery and not direct AC? I don't really remember, but I think at the very least the charging light would come on in that case. Also, were you keeping it in sleep mode the whole time?

The battery still WORKS (and lasts for a normal amount of time, I think), it just looks bad. (and I need more tape than usual to keep the case together) I'm pretty sure the 3DS will work without a battery when it's plugged in.

Unfortunately, this is not the case. While the battery light will go on, it will turn off as soon as you try booting up the machine. (until you remove and put it back on) The system will refuse to boot without a battery in it.

Hmm I bet it'll still turn on if there's a battery that doesn't work

What if you build a power supply which provides the same voltage and current as the battery and somehow connect that to the 3ds battery contacts and plug it in?

How about you do it like a car and plug a generator into the battery lol?

infinite energy ftw

It's literally how a car battery charges. When you turn it on, it powers the electromagnet in the generator and charges the car battery as it runs jsyk.

HES ONTO ME!

If millisec went negative, then when checking the FPS using millisec would the FPS also be negative? Just imagine -60 FPS
fps%=abs(fps%)

That works.

HES ONTO ME!
what also i'd say fuck, not frick. also also, you can't "hack" SmileBASIC through the app itself (at least not without homebrew) also also also, SmileBASIC, not SmileBasic. also also also also, what does that have to do with this thread?
