Making it easier to add bbcode tags

Could there be some buttons next to the edit text box to automatically add BBcode tags to text? Most other forums have this.

This could be a rather easy job, something even I could probably do (I've been itching to do some real dev work lately... CJ hear my prayer) EDIT: to be clear this is a feature I would like a lot whether or not I'm the person who makes it. sorry i just want to be a developer again it was kinda fun put this request here for the actual staff to read
