The basic setup is just two aux cables and a splitter (or two if your computer doesn't have a seperate headphone and microphone jack but has a combo audio jack for both).Geez, that's easily $40.00 cash right there. Well, only if you need two splitters. One splitter is needed for the 3DS, but your computer should have one headphone port and one microphone port. Sometimes, computers may have one audio jack instead of two, and this probably means it contains a combo audio jack (a headphone and microphone port in one, like the 3DS). Rarely, newer computers will only have a headphone jack, so you should check your computer model to see what type of jack(s) you have.I only have a laptop, it has a combo jack, (Headphone/MIC) but only one. Doesn't that mean I would need 2 splitters?
