Wow, this looks great! Except it'll suck for Old 3ds users.

it actually processes 100 objects per frame in this screenshot. If the object is far enough away, it will not be rendered Each tree is 13 or 15 tris, all of which are textured(I forget if the bottom has tris) Honestly, I'm thinking of having the enemies be pre - rendered as sprites

It did still say released by July 2020, and in his Bio he is still "working" on it, but that is just me having slight hope.

actually it kinda died a while ago. I might eventually get back to it. I'm currently making a survival VR game right now on unreal engine so I don't really recreationally program anymore.

Halo on 3DS would make me nut. My main concern is whether or not the game will be playable on the 3DS, especially considering that it's running in SmileBASIC via an interpreter and not machine code. Lunar Saviors, a game designed for the platform, has performance problems even, on the old 3DS at least. The art style of Halo is beautiful, I don't expect this to look nearly as crisp but I suppose you could probably make something resembling Halo and its atmosphere with the right amount of motivation.
