Hmm, ok. I better get started. I always wanted to make a game where a grizzly bear jumps out and kills you for no reason. Can't think of anything more horrifying than that.

Not being able to access stackoverflow when you have to finish a project in 10 minutes

I wonder how long until this starts getting popular... or will it even be popular.. I hope so cause my entry is going pretty well.

Bigger contests like this probably won’t get too many people going. maybe me

if I can get it to work, parts of my game will use raycasting... otherwise I'll just do something else.

I was SO confused about how to save custom SPRITES until I learned that GRP files do exactly that. Now I'm working on a sprite-type raycaster. Unfortunately I don't have access to miiverse anymore so I need to learn how to take decent photos for updates.
are you banned..? if so, then the best way i know of is to get someone to post pictures for you by giving them it and telling what to screenshot, but this way is pretty weird seeing as it would be a lot of key exchanging. anyways heres some sprites i made last night.. not many and honestly not very good but im happy with how they turned out :) maybe once i finish the main idea of the game ill find a good name.

better than mine

better than mine
thanks. anyways but the next picture will have much better and more.

While we're on the topic of contests... does anyone else think it is slightly ridiculous that SmileBoom doesn't host programming contests considering each contest leads more people to download the game, which helps THEIR sales? IDK...just a thought
hmm.. idk good question

They've had four contests, only one seemed to be English inclusive. http://smilebasic.com/en/library/ogiri4/

only one seemed to be English inclusive
That's because SmileBASIC was only out in Japan for the first three.

I'll try, as usual. Good luck have fun

That looks good. And I hope you can finish it before the deadline. All I have accompliced so far is a decent animated Title Screen, a Game Over Screen, and a basic Menu. I might have to tone down the scale of my game a tad, but I have a good idea of what I need before the time is up. I know it is a competition, but I am really lacking creepy SFX. I lowered the Pitch of Beep 072 to make a decent Zombie sound... But I'm having trouble figuring out: •Creepy door scree beep 90 is just not long enough imo •Werewolf Howl Ect I was wondering if there was a way to stretch out the length of sound Effects. Or maybe a tool someone has made to make new ones.

Um if you make them there's a cool thing I use, its a recorder, its somewhere on sbs though I dint know wheee or the ket, when I'm ozn compyrter I can try to find it or you can look in submission simewhere
