Emulators are fun little code projects. It can also be fun writing a compiler for one and creating programs, like I'm doing with the one I'm putting off.. Are there still people who create gameboy homebrew/can it work with the emulator?I also like them.Definitely. A lot of the commenters seem to be quite confused about why someone would make a gameboy emulator in smileBASIC. It will obviously never be fast enough or accurate enough to replace a good homebrew emulator or virtual console. It's just a fun experiment, and I like those. Can't you just use a homebrew gameboy emulator tho? This project is to see whether Game Boy emulation in SmileBASIC is entirely possible or not, not really for casual gameplay. Of course homebrew solutions would be a better idea if you want to play casually.

I was wondering if it's an exploit.
If it is, then Nintendo will delist SmileBASIC from the eShop.

I'm referring to homebrew exploits. I looked up on Nintendo's legal information. Here's the whole thing: https://www.nintendo.com/corp/legal.jspI was wondering if it's an exploit. If it is, then Nintendo will delist SmileBASIC from the eShop. What are you referring to?
This emulator doesn't require Homebrew. Only SmileBASIC.I'm referring to homebrew exploits. I looked up on Nintendo's legal information. From what I can tell the emulator can't allow 3ds exploits and like ralsei says, it doesn't require it. If you mean gameboy exploits it shouldn't be too severe as the gameboy console is quite old and you're essentially applying homebrew to code instead of a physical system. There's already large scale piracy of old gameboy roms and I haven't seen anything done aboutit, and it is an old system, so I'm not sure if the word "piracy" really applies. The only bad thing I can see happening is the removal of the emulator from the download servers.I'm referring to homebrew exploits. I looked up on Nintendo's legal information. While you work on it, do you want to bring Wario Blast and all the other Bomberman GB/GBC games to this? I'll really appreciate it because I'm one of the diehard fans of Bomberman! ๐

You can add them yourself though, you just need to find ROMs for those games.
This emulator is really cool but unfortunately useless for anyone without the appropriate cables for petitmodem or hacking or whatever means to get ROMs.While you work on it, do you want to bring Wario Blast and all the other Bomberman GB/GBC games to this? could just ask someone to upload it as a "game save file" or copy it byte for byte. The first option is less legal though. Pmodem can work without cablesI see. ๐ค๐This emulator is really cool but unfortunately useless for anyone without the appropriate cables for petitmodem or hacking or whatever means to get ROMs.While you work on it, do you want to bring Wario Blast and all the other Bomberman GB/GBC games to this? How to put ROMs to the emulator?
There are a few ways to "import" external.files. The easiest ways are to use either petit modem or the homebrew file transfer program someone here made
