Hmm... I still think <variable> might be a better option. It also works with: GOTO @<label>
That doesn't really make much sense. You don't do @LBLVAR$ now do you?
no. but do you have a better way of doing labels? anyway, without <> you can't do TOUCH OUT <time>,<x>,<y> there is just no way for it to make sense.

Already said I would use @label to specify that the argument was a label. In the case of OUT, it's automatically implied that the arguments are variables because that's the only thing it can take as arguments. All other edge cases will be explained in the text.

but why? are <> being used for anything else? You might as well use them to eliminate any confusion.
