the 170ish comments on the game place was getting a bit much so time to make a thread.
So y'all come over here to talk and stuff.
First off, This game is NOT A TERRARIA CLONE which will soon be seen as i slowly make the game as it is supposed to be, but the current focus IS adding features and functions to help in main dev of the game, meaning that what it looks like now IS NOT what it will look like and contrary to popular opinion it is above all not land based.
Space. The vastness of space is always assumed to be empty, you think "space" as if it were a physical space like space in a room or field, but this is not it, space is indeed the only full thing you can have, in case you are wondering what i mean, here is an example, air: it is empty yet not so, you can pass through it but if there is wind you can indeed feel it, not as something hard but as a force of something, just like water, space in this way is like a dry water, you cant breathe and you cannot move easilly.
Space is filled with what I fill be calling FIl (Full Interective latalation).
Not only are there planets and stars but civilization too.

Ooh abandoned space station. Was it discovered by the player and some accident left the player behind or did the player wake up onboard with no one else? Or will it be a mystery?
Alright so i would like a compilation of things such as items useful in space.
so far ive found a few that include, neogdrogramic powered magnet which are basically insanely powerful magnets, can be used by adding a small electrical charge, but be careful with them because putting them on yourself and adding charge willfor certain rip off the body part it is attached to/leave a hole in you.
very useful for ship holds but only at lowest levels, great for ramming, plant one on a ship and activate your ships hold memory core system with it and the ship no matter what will at the very least be left with no shields and broken cores.
also useful for quick movement.
then another is the use of gravity inhibitors which are created for the sole purpose of destruction, attach this to an enemy vessil and activate, any and everything will act as bullets speeding through the ship and everything at lightspeed, surviving this attack is not likely.
Other ideas..?

thrusters (could be directional or like starmade or whatever)
food (from the gardens which could be grown with just dirt and seeds; possible challenge)

Most of these require additional mechanics so I won't flood you with more ideas. Unless you want that.
HOW DO I JOIN THE DEVELOPMENTYou contribute new, creative, and functional content such as a new mechanic or texture. If approved of the head of the project (?) will impliment it. I think.
how about randomly generated black holes in the space area, and armor that reduces their power against you or items to weaken and/or destroy them? just an idea though.first off... yeah i forgot about black holes lol that will be part of it.. and 2nd.. YOU CANT DESTROY A BLACK HOLE! I mean i could make that but personally i think black holes should be left in the extremely overpowered and dont go near them list. anyways heres a small lesson on black holes, they suck everything in and cause time to move slower, using a time dialation device you could theoretically move freely through them but it defeats the point as even if you can move your still being pulled into it, its like gravity pulling you extremely hard but instead your being sucked into one area, the "black hole", no one currently knows whats in it and no one knows what it is. but it gets bigger and swallows everything.
Aren't black holes extremely dense masses of matter? Supposedly they're formed by near dead stars when they collapse in on themselves.
Picy, just a suggestion, but if you don't want people to confuse this game with Terraria then start off by removing it from the keywords. I find it hypocritical that you don't want people getting this game confused with Terraria, yet you put it in the keywords.o.o somedayyy ... ok I forgot that was there sorry, that was just for when i released oops idk ill take it out
