Tiny Huge World is a 2.5D platforming game for SmileBASIC 3 that follows the Blockling on a journey to discover the true meaning of creativity. Inspired by the LittleBigPlanet series, you can play and create levels using the built-in level editor, and then share them with other people via local communication or the SmileBASIC servers. The only limit is your imagination. [Rating - RGAR 1] [Game - v1.07]

Instructions:

To play Tiny Huge World, simply run the -RUN file (which should be at the top of the file list). For more information on the game, such as the controls and some extra stuff, read the included INFORMATION file.

Cool and good

I just figured out the cause of the flickering issue. As it turns out, I put GCLS instructions before RENDER (and commented out some important GCLS instructions). EDIT: After this gets updated, seizure-prone people can now play with no issues, as the flicker would be replaced by slowdown.

Amazing.

Music objects are objects that play music when the player touches them (obviously). EDIT: They are not in the current version. They will be in the next version, however.

Colors! In the next version, a color palette will be added when placing objects.

Hey, I have a suggestion. What if you made some built in stages that people could play and edit? I mean, some people are really unimaginative and are not feeling original so it would be smart to include built in levels. Even if it is a few. Although if you don't, then maybe you can make a system like mario maker where your stages (once your done) are given a code that generates the level the exact way it was for someone else if you were to enter it into a level generator or something. So you could share your creations and find random combinations. Just an idea.

I really don't know if I can do that...

That is okay. It is just an idea for your game :D

But I do have a plan for sharing in the future :).

Great! :p

Version 3 has been released.

I'm working on Saving and Loading for v4, and it seems to work very good at the moment. EDIT: Or... at least... sometimes.

Coming soon... EDIT:
a bunch of screenshots
If I don't find any serious bugs, it'll be out today.

I have an announcement to make. 2, actually.
first announcementFirstly, I recently got SB4 and ported Tiny Huge World Beta v4.1 to it. The result? Tiny Huge World Switch Alpha. Estimated release date: Already out.
second announcementA new version of Tiny Huge World, Beta v7, is going to be released. For most of you, it'll be strange to see that I "skipped" v5 and v6. Those 2 versions were actually Private Beta versions, and some "new" features in v7 were actually added in v5 and v6. Estimated release date: Today or Tomorrow, depending on how many bugs need to be fixed.

Speaking of v7, it's now ready to be put onto SBS. Edit: Which I just did. Tiny Huge World Beta v7 out now!

In case anybody wants the key for the SB4 version, it's 4R4MNN3QJ.

Fun fact: Pressing (and spamming) the X button on the RGames logo screen allows you to access a very experimental Splitscreen Multiplayer mode.
splitscreen multiplayer controlsPlayer 1:
  • Circle Pad - Move
  • Right - Jump
Player 2:
  • C-Stick (or Circle Pad Pro) - Move
  • Y - Jump
As I said above, this mode is very experimental, to the point where, for example, the game lags much more than usual. EDIT: The Poppet is still there in Create Mode, but only Player 1 can use it, as Player 2 will just freeze in place.
