I keep getting a notification on my 3DS that SmileBASIC v3.60 is out, even though I already have that update and already have the notification. I don't know why it keeps happening.Did you (accidentally) delete the additional data from the SD card? To be sure which version you are using, you can check the version number you are using: - in the main menu on the upper screen bottom right - after the first start of the software it will also be displayed in direct mode BEFORE you run your own program.
Well I figured I can take screenshots with the SELECT button, and that was introduced in 3.60I keep getting a notification on my 3DS that SmileBASIC v3.60 is out, even though I already have that update and already have the notification. Pretty strange...
It seems this Bug is coming from the e-shop.
Have you try to use the "update"-message for visit the shop? Perhaps it will be deleted the Bug.
That happened because the game was updated in the eshop (they updated the main title itself) and you haven't purchased it. You installed from an old CIA so you have an old version but you can't download the newest because your ticket isn't legitimate.1. Please don't necropost. 2. He WAS able to download the newest version. He literally said so on this thread. 3. Besides, the last time the main title itself was updated was with 3.3.0, not 3.6.0.
2. He WAS able to download the newest version. He literally said so on this thread. He said he downloaded the update. The message doesn't go away because the main title is outdated still.
3. Besides, the last time the main title itself was updated was with 3.3.0, not 3.6.0.Still that's more recent than what he has installed. He wasn't supposed to see that message, the title would have updated by itself. That was a common issue after Nintendo decided to demand valid signatures on the tickets in order to allow downloads.
1. Please stop assuming my gender 2. No I actually bought the game with real money (if that's what you mean by my ticket being illegitimate)What gender are you, or what pronouns do you prefer to be called? Try reinstalling SmileBASIC if it helps. I believe your save data is stored separately as extra data so it should be fine.
I believe your save data is stored separately as extra data so it should be fine.Yes. Just yes. That is correct. I would know...
Yeah I got a new MicroSD card (32 gb so yay!) and I haven't gotten the notification in a while. Also, with the new SD card, I did lose most of my stuff, (with the exception of stuff on the cloud) but I don't really care because with the things I did make much progress on, I learned a lot and can now recreate pretty much. Also, with the extra knowledge that I have gained over the years, I could restart and make better creations with projects I'm already working on. Anyway, sorry for that little cosine there.

Just copy/paste everything from the old SD card onto the new one. If you still have the old SD card, it's not too late.
