Here is joke screensaver. Nya Cat Screen Saver (Nya Cat is not NyanCat... or is it???) http://smilebasicsource.com/page?pid=756 public key : N3AJ1473 I modified old text mode screen saver I made for QBASIC long ago and added cat. Everything on screen is made of text. Even the cat is text(not sprite) *extra stuff at the end of code is just a dummy data. I am also working on another April Fool's joke game project. progress so far: I started it on Sunday night with player animation test. Monday: map loading. done. Tuesday: title done .and intro... Wednesday: intro done. more sprite added. I am planning to add enemies tonight. It is totally unplayable joke program that's looks like a real game. I will try to finish it before AprilFool's day.

Two questions: Can I create more than one program for submission? Can I recreate something I've already made from scratch?

Only one submission per person, but you can modify/remove/add your submission as many times as you want up to the cutoff date. Yes, you can recreate something if you're writing all the code between now and the cutoff date. But it can't just be the same thing you've made before (if you've released it on SB already). For instance, ChangeV's thing is fine because he originally created it in something else, but if Perska were to just rewrite the legend of color and release basically the same game, that wouldn't be OK.

hey bad news i may hav 2 delay the game i encountered bad glitchs& bugs it will be released on friday also random is it okay to copy&paste functionsfrom old programs??"?

ah I knew this wouldn't be easy. Uhhh yes, but only if the functions aren't like... an entirely library. Blegh, I should've just allowed libraries in the first place; now I have to be all particular about what's allowed.

How long will the voting period be?

All voting will take place on April 1st (ending at 11:59pm EST).
ban yourself yourself

Ugh, my program is basically complete...but I have no way to add the right music to it... I need someway to record the first 19 seconds of "the jungle book" NES game title screen music, I was using the wav recorder samkitsune made, but it's far too quiet to be heard well enough. Any ideas? EDIT: Solved my problem.

Can I make a game without having a 3DS?

As long as you have a key

Oh that's a good point.

You could always ask someone else to upload code for you There's a good chance it won't run if you haven't tested it, but at least you'll get the participation badge...

I am entering with Quad Connect. Right before the deadline too. http://smilebasicsource.com/page?pid=763 I hope everyone enjoys it.

Welp. Contest's over, so no more entries. Good thing I posted mine 1 hour before the deadline.

I turned in my entry a day before. Get your act together. *puts on really cool sunglasses*

The goal is to get it in last minute, buddy. Nice try.

The goal is to get your project exposed for the most amount of time possible so more people vote for your program.

Does the world end after the deadline? 😆 People can still vote after, and in the end the staff decides which one wins.

ew you used emoji the staff does not decide which one wins, and no one will vote for your project if they haven't cared enough to click on it and download it.

EMOJIS ARE CANCEROUS I KEEP MAKING TYPOS UGH DARN YOU IPHONE KEYBOARD UEURJRHRHFDBDDNDDJ Eh someone already voted for mine anyway. In all seriousness, I was joking. I put "I did it at the last minute" to show that I just made a simple program. The fact that you did yours earlier shows that you were able to put more effort in your project. That was the joke, for I had less time to finish it than everyone else (who submitted before me).
