SYSBEEP is a system variable. It controls:
-Keyboard sounds
-DIALOG button sounds
-Top menu button sounds
-Saving sounds
Everyone has their own preference for whether they want it on or off. Therefore, DO NOT mess with it!!!
You might hate the DIALOG sounds (and that's fine), but some people DON'T, and you can turn off SYSBEEP outside of your program.
If you really must turn SYSBEEP off, do something like:
OLD=SYSBEEP SYSBEEP=0 ... SYSBEEP=OLDto reset SYSBEEP to its original value. And remember, you can do LOAD file$,0 to turn off the DIALOG and sound.
