Bears have evolved the ability to shapeshift into anything (or anyone) you can imagine! (Or maybe your eyesight is just really poor?) Either way, one wrong step could be your last in the randomly generated world of Super Bearland. Hunt those beasts down before they hunt you! Talk to people to get Clues about the Bear's location and disguise. Check objects to find the Tools you need to take the Bear down! But if you accidentally Talk to or Check the Bear, it's Game Over! Each round lasts 2-5 minutes, but no two games are alike with randomized levels, optional challenges, and a heaping helping of unlockables. Keep playing and experimenting to see if you can find them all!

Instructions:

WARNING: Contains flashing light effects and "jumpscares" upon losing. If you are sensitive to either of these, disable them in the Settings Menu. Circle Pad / D-Pad: Move L / R / Hold Touch Screen: Fast Forward "T" in the top left corner: Toggle Typewriter Animation Bear Trap: Throw at suspected Bears to eliminate them. Bearometer: Determines if a Bear is in the current Town. Super Bear Trap: Eliminates the current Town, and everything inside. Decoy: Automatically prevents one Theft attempt.

Notes:

Cool Features:
    Retro music & sound effects

And more!

Uhhh someone gave this work of art a downvote
Meh, I'm not worried. It's like an Amazon review: if it's a perfect 5 stars then the reviews are probably inaccurate. I'll take 97% approval any day.

I have an unlock idea. Custom colors! The top screen has a selection using L and R to select sample menus, (Text boxes, Arrows, stuff like that) And Play screen (a sampe map showing explored, thief, and other tiles, text boxes, and tools). One screen can even be the Game Logo!

I'm in a 3x3 environment. That's cool. I didn't feel like winning anyway.
Oz mode! Oz mode!

bugs-I unlocked color set 1 and the market at the same time, and the ! icon got stuck on screen. -being nuked by the bear does not seem to reset the win streak. -I lost my last two decoys in one town, and the icon still showed that I had 1 left -The previous lose message is displayed when being killed for not saving -aVoided theme sound effects don't stop in the menu when you switch themes after using it
more bugs?-I suspect the "before <x> tools" challenge might be broken (but it's entirely possible that I just can't count) -I died in the "without walking past the bear twice" challenge immediately upon entering a room for the first time (It's possible that the bear was in this room and I didn't have any traps, does the game detect that you CAN'T win even though you haven't failed the challenge?) -In 2 bears mode, someone said I had passed a bear more than once, but I checked all the rooms I had visited and none of them had a bear
for the 2 bear mode thing, he might have meant the object in the room someone said you visited once. happens to me sometimes

Glad it worked out. Bearland can be a lonely game if you can't save your progress/unlocks.

(When i was playing the game) hey i like this game (Jumpscare ) I LOVE THIS GAME

About a week ago I found a bug in this game, so today I wanted to see if I could re-create it, and it was successful. To get the "bug" to occur, switch the mode to Oz mode, have challenge mode on, and have towns set to 45 (this may be optional though). After you have done all of that, start the round, and make sure you have three challenges. Then, press R to open the notepad and scroll through the pages until you get to the challenge notes, afterwards scroll through that page and then Super Bearland will crash. This is the only bug I have found on my own, so I'm not completely sure if anyone else has found it.

Good timing, uploaded a fix for that. Also includes a fix for a very, very rare glitch in Warzone mode. Under extremely specific circumstances the Bear could nuke itself, but the game would keep going, forcing a stalemate. The odds of this happening are astronomical, but still technically possible.

Good to hear! Also, I was wondering if the bear could nuke itself, so thanks for telling me!

Normally, no. If the Bear runs out of towns to nuke apart from its own, then the next nuke is guaranteed to hit you. The only way that it could nuke itself was if you found the Bear on your first try: There's a one-turn grace period where, if your first Talk to/Check is the Bear, the Bear moves to a backup location somewhere else on the map. So it was unlikely, but technically possible for the Bear to nuke its backup spot after moving to it.
