For the sprite graphics, if I don't want to make a clutter in a single sprite sheet for the SPDEF type of thing, I replace default sprites with character sprites. For example, I replace the default ship sprites with the Waluigi ones, and the Waluigi sprites are the same width and length of the ship sprites. And for adding Pepsi Man, yes I'll add it to the roster, but since I'll start with 12 fighters for the initial release, I'll have Pepsi Man be in the Wave 4 update.

Wait so the characters are going to be 16 pixels tall at most and 16 pixels wide at most.. What. the. fu-

Yup! The reason for that is because the 8 pixels one may not fit most characters.

8-pixel smash characters might be cool

And their easy to make.

I would encrypt it 5 times or so. To be extra safe.
There's no point in encrypting more than once. In fact, encrypting 5 times with 10-character passwords can actually be worse than encrypting once with a 50-character password, if there's a way to tell when you've entered the correct password. To understand this, imagine two boxes, one red and one blue. The red box has five combination padlocks on it, each with a two digit combination (00 to 99). The blue box has a single combination padlock on it, with a ten digit combination (0000000000 to 9999999999). Now, let's say you wanted to get into these boxes by brute-forcing the combination. Starting with the red box, the first padlock has 100 different combinations. Once you guess that combination, you can take that padlock off of the box. This means that you only have to try 100 combinations for each of the five locks. In other words, the maximum number of guesses for the red box is: (10*10) + (10*10) + (10*10) + (10*10) + (10*10) = 500 guesses Now, let's try the blue box. There's the same number of digits as the red box overall, but the difference is that there's only one lock, so there's no way to tell whether any of the digits are correct until you guess all ten digits correctly. This means that you have no choice but to try every single combination of all ten digits. In other words, the maximum number of guesses for the blue box is: 10 * 10 * 10 * 10 * 10 * 10 * 10 * 10 * 10 * 10 = 10,000,000,000 guesses As you can see, the blue box is way more secure, even though it only has a single lock on it. This should show you that choosing a longer password will almost always be better than adding more layers of encryption.
Interesting thanks.

I usually just make what I want to make, not caring for staying inside the box. It usually comes out good. I am not that good at 8 bit art though as it seems to small (for me) to make the detailed stuff I like. At least have good luck

Here's what I'm planning for the versions of Super Assist Champions. 1.0: Initial release. We got Bomberman, Waluigi, Geno, Crash Bandicoot, Bandana Dee, Ralsei, Luigi, Steve, Master Chief, Hatsune Miku, Mega Man and Sonic! 2.0: Fan Favorites, the second wave, is here! We added Spring Man, Rayman, Shantae, Sukapon, Prince Fluff, and Takumaru to the roster! We also added the Stage Builder! 3.0: Spirit Hearts, the third wave is here! We added Sora, Lyn, Zero, Krystal, Tracer, and Tetris Man to the roster! We now also have Power Arcade, a mode where you and other players duke it out with random stages and other super gimmicks! 4.0: Digital World Fighters, the fourth wave, is here! We added Ashley, Agumon, Mimikyu, Knuckles, Pepsi Man, and Shovel Knight to the roster! 5.0: Final Countdown, the fifth and final wave is here! We added Gundam, Shadow, Ghirahim, Skull Kid, Starfy, and Mighty Bomber to the roster! Mighty Bomber is a new fighter who comes from the coolest Bomberman anime yet, Bomberman Jetters, and he's appearing in Super Assist Champions for the first time ever!

Imagine adding the brain age guy That would be interesting but you don't have to do it, since you seem to have everything planned out already. It would be cool though

Nice I like how this thread already has like 3 pages and it has been like maybe 2 weeks at most

Also if it is going to be 16 by 16 sprites now that I think about it that seems like it would be a whole lot easier to make and fit. Noice

Would you like to do Super Assist Champions on SmileBASIC 4? If so, I'm planning on a Bomberman 3DS that's like Bomberman Blast on the Wii but with Capture the Flag and Adventure Mode also. Edit: I don't have SmileBASIC 4 on my Switch, but my position must've been "Planning and Creation" for Super Assist Champions.

A. I don't have Japanese accounts on my switch so I can't currently get it and I don't want my brothers switch bricked, and B. I never said that I was just commenting on your methods (unless you were talking about someone else)

I think maybe both if you're up to it. There are still many people who don't have SB4 (like myself) and so it's probably a good idea to do it on the 3DS. But it would be really cool on the switch. That's my opinion.

I would rather have it be released simultaneously on 3DS AND Switch

It is good for you too make decisions like this early in the game so you don't have to restart everything later, but I would still prefer for you to keep it on 3DS

Sure 😉👍

Hows the Super Assist Champions game development going? At least send me a screenshot of the sprites or the game’s main title screen. :) EDIT: Also... I guess you can make it a Windows 3DS (Sakakibara UI) exclusive (to support the development of the OS.) And, no, I’m not trying to spam. Link to the development thread: http://smilebasicsource.com/forum?ftid=1635

Wait your trying to get exclusive games on Sakakibara UI? Since when? Also the title appears earlier in the thread
