Site instability

Seems like some data got corrupted in chat. It seems it was a residual effect from the earlier DoS attack. Waiting for more word on the situation.

We have 14522 of these threads already. Consider consolidation.

Okay, full story. When the DoS happened, it messed up the disk queue. Now, when the automatic site backup started, it froze the server. Random restarted the server, but it caused issues because some files were being used. The up/down state was the server recovering from the journal. Some data was lost, but Random restored a backup I believe, so we're good for now. If you notice any major weirdness, let randomouscrap know.

Please consolidate, as Lumage said. Also not every site outage is big deal. The DoSers just thrive on making people upset.
