Hey uhhh problem. No inputs are working. No touch, no buttons. The menu is being emulated, it's animated and playing music. just a control issue
Are you sure you set the controls/know what the defaults are? Also, as i said, the emulator doesn't seem to be able to emulate touch.

there might be a way to use the touch screen that i'm not aware of but it would be easier to just buy a flash cart and a DSi capture card

Touch works on my end. Tips: 1. Make sure to press Save Now when you want to save the options. I can't count how many times I've disabled the choppy DSi sound emulation only for it to return the next time I open NO$GBA. 2. Make sure you downloaded the latest version (2.9d) of NO$GBA from the official site -- I don't know why a fake url shows up at the top of the search results. 3. yeah

updated from 2.9b to 2.9e. Problem persists. P.S.: I loaded a normal Nintendo DS ROM, and touch works.

Touch doesn't work if I start the Petit Computer "cartridge" directly. You must go through the DSi Menu. Emulation Settings->Reset/Startup Entrypoint->GBA/NDS BIOS (Nintendo logo)

The DSi menu doesn't boot. I may have the wrong bios files. P.S.: "Bad CPSR Mode bits/access rights" P.P.S.: I'm downloading more files. im trying something. being vague because i forgot my damn words P.P.P.S.: And it works. Now. How do I get programs in here?

Well, you said that you've got it on your hacked 3DS, so it should be possible to read some QR codes with that, then transfer the save data to PC. I don't know the precise steps to do that, though.

That's exactly what I'm thinking. Just haven't had a chance quite yet because I'm busy at the moment but I'm definitely gonna try it in a bit.

I don't know exactly what format No$GBA stores save data in, or how to replace the save data. Tell me if I'm wrong. The save data for PTC on the 3DS is stored as "public.sav" The data for everything in the emulator is in "DSi-1.mmc"

Okay, so, swear to God. I downloaded a pre-set-up installation of No$GBA without being told that it had a bunch of games installed. There goes avoiding piracy. It luckily included Petit Computer. Turns out, that's why it's working, not my ROM, like I thought. This also means the data is stored in the emulated NAND, which, yes, is DSi-1.mmc, I'm sure. Whenever PTC saves, that file gets updated. Seems like it's encrypted, though. It would be good if I could get this to work with my ROM instead, but I don't know how. Also, I did an experiment with the "injecting screen recording code" idea in SB3 in a simple way, and it works. I do think it's possible to implement this in PTC and play back in SB3 with more work. But yeah, the emulator definitely the better option. Just, how do I load the programs? https://youtu.be/6hj33bfCdTU

The save file is a FAT12 filesystem image. Get something like WinImage, it should let you modify it.

I got WinImage, but it won't open it.

so i got the roms and all i got to show is this cool screenshot

The downloaded bios files are also piracy. EDIT: if you don't mind crappy, limited emulation you could try my emulator: https://github.com/Minxrod/PTC-Interpreter/releases

It's all piracy but it's also basically abandonware

sadly we dont see the difference between piracy and abandonware and we see abandonware as piracy reee

I will abandon this route if desired. I should probably just point the camera at the screen. Anything else isn't worth the time.
