Hi it's me. I recently cancelled a project due to lack of programming knowledge. This thread is where i will post just some stuff and and ask some questions and play around with some things to hopefully build my skill with programming. The just some stuff part includes things like sprite art and that's pretty much it.
idea incoming: instead of a health bar it's a picture of your character's face but it becomes visibly ill the lower your health is like they caught a disease or something
question: i use scratch.mit like every day so i'm just wondering how big a step up from scratch is smilebasic?
not that big, experimentation helps
scratch is unusable because you have to drag blocks, and the editor starts slowing down as you nest them more and more and more (so whenever you see some cool project it's really impressive)
yeah i hear it breaks like half of the 2.0 projects too
i don't even know if these correlate to health but that's all i could think of
of course i'd probably prefer it less horrifying but it conveys what i'm saying
that's definitely something i made
