On old 3DS though... I hope you brought a good movie and some popcorn.Lol yeah the emulator is pretty darn slow but a really impressive piece of software it will take a lot even in a n3dsCan someone show it working ? (I can't get further then the Tetris © screen)Have you tried waiting for a long time?
h2 have you wrote any test games for the emulator?
You will need CFW to get ROMs into smileBASIC so it is not much more work. Not including a key helps detract people from having a program they cannot useYea, I have CFW with Luma (sorry for late response...)
I'd like to try this out, but I don't have a modded console, and PetitModem would be too slow. In other words, could somebody provide a key for it?
Spoiler
To prevent it from being removed, use Actorbug's PACK to package the emulator, then upload it to the server. Make sure to not include UNPACK.I'd like to try this out, but I don't have a modded console, and PetitModem would be too slow. Actually, here are the reasons maybe RGames wants a key for it: 1.-PetitModem uses dial-up modem-like technology to transfer files to SB. 2.-PetitModem is annoying. 3.-Using a key is more fast than PetitModem.I'd like to try this out, but I don't have a modded console, and PetitModem would be too slow. Actually, here are the reasons giving a key isn't useful: 1. This is unplayable, why would you want it? 2. Looking at old posts by them in this thread, they may expect to be able to play games in it. [SPOILER: You can't, it's slow as heck] 3. Doing it by yourself is faster than begging someone else to do it for you.Actually, here are the reasons maybe RGames wants a key for it: 1.-PetitModem uses dial-up modem-like technology to transfer files to SB. 2.-PetitModem is annoying. 3.-Using a key is more fast than PetitModem.I'd like to try this out, but I don't have a modded console, and PetitModem would be too slow. Well, who said emulation is not possible? 32X emulates perfectly on N3DS. Also, remember what SaladFingers said?Actually, here are the reasons giving a key isn't useful: 1. Additionally, the program is quite poorly written and hard to read, which makes debugging painful. If it's poorly written, it can't be ran at 60FPS.
this is a emulating in slow interpreted language in a 3DS, not emulating in native code. it also runs at less then 1 FPS what are you talking about, also the quality of the code doesn't mean how fast it executes... if you dont know how to fucking read properly it's not my problemWell, who said emulation is not possible? 32X emulates perfectly on N3DS. Ok, ok... I get it... ITS BASIC. BASIC is a very standard language so it can't emulate GB roms.this is a emulating in slow interpreted language in a 3DS, not emulating in native code. it also runs at less then 1 FPS what are you talking about, also the quality of the code doesn't mean how fast it executes... if you dont know how to f_cking read properly it's not my problemWell, who said emulation is not possible? 32X emulates perfectly on N3DS. But still, I want to see if I can do anything to make it faster.
my ideas
Using BG tiles and Sprites, minimizing FOR Loops (if it uses a lot)But still, I want to see if I can do anything to make it faster. Not as easy as you think, at this speed it's probably less of graphics lag and more "literally can't even parse the instructions quickly enough"my ideas

Of course I'd need to physically have the code in SB, and don't give me that Modding stuff! But still, I want to see if I can do anything to make it faster. Not as easy as you think, at this speed it's probably less of graphics lag and more "literally can't even parse the instructions quickly enough"my ideas

i don't think you got R3C0RD's point . . . there is almost nothing you can do to make it faster because it's already running as fast as it can run also let's say your programming level isnt goodOf course I'd need to physically have the code in SB, and don't give me that Modding stuff! But still, I want to see if I can do anything to make it faster. Not as easy as you think, at this speed it's probably less of graphics lag and more "literally can't even parse the instructions quickly enough"my ideas

also let's say your programming level isnt goodJust because someone wrote bad code in the past doesn't mean they can' t improve, even if it is RGames. What makes you think you're so qualified to make these kinds of sweeping generalized judgements? Anyone with the willingness to work for a long time on something can make something decent. I doubt that this emulator is the most optimized it could possibly be, period, no questions asked. It might not run very close to real time, but with more optimizations, it can probably run quite a bit faster than it can currently.
