UPDATE 12/12/2015 3:52PM EST: Better, faster version with controls! A program that attempts to simulate a view from inside a textured cylinder. The cylinder slowly rotates and "falls" from the top of the screen to the bottom. Uses XSCREEN 4.

Instructions:

Just run the program and watch until the end.

It's not perfect, but quick-and-dirty is how I like it. I have a "better" version laying around, maybe I'll post it and write up a doc about how it works.

you should make a remake of super castlevaina IV. in one of the stages it has that kind of background to simulate a 3D effect but it is sideways and scrolling up/down
