This was set to be a game but it has been canceled but this tech demo will be preserved outside of smilebasicsource. We appreciate the support and apologize for the disappointment we may have caused.

Instructions:

Just Play!

Notes:

Game has been canceled. Sorry!

I love seeing a trailer and waiting 45 seconds to START THE GAEM

Sorry! My Bad I will try to add a SKIP Option. OK?

Definitely has effort put into it.

Why is it New 3DS only? Why are we not supposed to edit it? The button to publish says it allows secondary use. That in game background hurts my eyes lol. Great demo! Actually pretty hyped for full release!

  • Preventing O3DS users from playing for literally no reason (can be bypassed easily)
  • Everything is hardcoded
  • A not so good attempt at making it look legit
    Licenced by Nintendo
    what.
  • not using for loops (you might be starting SB so that might be okay tho)
    WAIT 3
    BEEP 3
    CPUHP=CPUHP-1

those lines are repeated 7 times
  • Not using IF CPUHP<=0 THEN 'BLAH
  • The same code gets repeated MANY TIMES.
  • A promo code that can't be used anywhere
  • Code that tries to overwrite the game with a text string if it's modified. Did you not read the information on the publish screen??? All SmileBASIC programs are freely modifiable.
  • VIDEO.MP4
MP4's are not encoded in SmileBASIC
I rate it 10/10 - IGN

what do you mean by hardcoded?

How do you "protect" a program?

you can't really

I'm talking about how the publisher protected the game so you can't edit it. (Also, from the smilebasic website) "Please also note that programs and resources (images and sounds) included in published projects are deemed to have been provided by their creators with permission for secondary use by third parties."

Wait a sec... Does my game work on old 3ds too? The only reason why locked it was because of an glitch that happened to me when playing it on both models. But if you knew about this... Then you should it told it to me cause i didn't know My apologies i will remove the patch ASAP. (As Soon As Posible.)

You can also just find the promo code within the program or any dat file you may put it in the full game btw, don't think that since you published it, you own it, by agreeing to SmileBOOM's terms, both you and SmileBoom own it and they allow anybody to edit the source code of other users, it would take away the fun and pleasure of the community. Ps, many people actually learn from other people's programs.

OK i guess... ... I'm sorry to be too restricted with my games i just that i wanna be a real game developer some day but my mom keeps telling me to protect my game and said to her that this is just for fun but she didn't understood so then what happened was that now she's always "testing" my game before i can even upload it. I'm really sorry. I will try to fix this. Not only that... But smilebasic can be a way for game development training So i was trying to make it realistic so it didn't look like SmileBasic at all But i failed. >_<

i have a question it's been a year and no full version yet geez i thought you had a way to type it into a word doc then send it to Sb through homebrew laucher app... because if it's been a year how come no full release?

The people here don't exist solely to make games that meet your expectations. If a project is dead or dropped, that's it. Something like this was never going to be good in the first place. You just sound needy, going around posting these.
