This is an award-winning Legend of Zelda-style action adventure game made by Team PUWATTO-X and I translated it. Who's Team PUWATTO-X you ask? The father, PUSH, codes the game while his kid, Massa, throws out designs and ideas. You play as the hero, explore a cave-like dungeon, solve puzzle-like traps, fight bosses, loot around, and seek out the ultimate treasure! Simple! ...Or is it? Requires SmileBasic version 3.3.0.

Instructions:

All self-explanatory in game. Read the tutorials carefully. Buttons can be customized at a later time. Hint 1: Stopwatch (available after the tutorial) is your friend. Use it whenever you're stuck. Hint 2: Can you find all 7 Heart Boxes? Hint 3: Can you find the hermit (Master Bones) and his secret item? Warning: VERY hard to find! Hint 4: If you got the secret item, did you use it?

Great job beating the game! Sounds like you haven't found Master Bones (the only easter egg in this game, and he's not a boss) yet, so here's a hint:

Use your Rod and poke every suspicious nook and cranny in the Lava Area. He lives above ground so his location is not on the map. Use your Stopwatch to see a hint when you do find him!

then you don't need that clue. You saw the cipher right? Basically a Caesarean cipher is just to shift forward or backward X letters.

Yeah, I saw the entrance because it's easily visible on the map Another hint: you can use the button that drops the enemies to farm gold and other items. (you can use the expandable rod and stand below)

I found Master Bones and.... I BEAT THE GAME! Now I just want to find the Hermit... ^{Unless the Hermit IS Master Bones, then that would make my job so much easier...}

It reminds me of tristones

Similarities: 2D platformer Has a story that doesn't really interfere with gameplay You can break some blocks with your sword item that teleports you back to saving area double jump boots SAME PLAYER SPRITE!!! (sprite 496 for smash!) underground slimes The creator probably played tristones, at least.

Like 12Me21 said, the hermit IS Master Bones. Grammatically it's called "appositive comma", as in: ElzoBro, a SmileBasic user, beat the awesome game. Also, did you actually USE that secret item? Something amazing will happen :3

The Japanese text was also just "katachi 3D mappu" = shape 3D map. It's supposed to mean you can use three methods to tell which tiles are fall-throughs: 1. Look at the fake tiles' shape. It's different than the solid floor tiles 2. Look at them in 3D. They have different depths 3. Check your CAVE MAP. You can tell which tiles are just voids.

I saw this listed as an Ogiri entry on the Japanese Miiverse, but I didn't think it was THIS good either. Decided to give it a try, and within 10 minutes I fangasmed. That's good. Am I right or am I right?

I cleared the game, and it was great! Here are my stats if someone wants to know: Clear Time: 4:31:46 Explorations: 31 Rank: C ... Some extra info: Had the "secret" weapon. Had the secret item. Game cleared with 9 hearts.
