Nope. He's having issues with the fact that he wants to copyright assets for his game, and he can foresee issues happening

In The Dark SB is cancelled due to copyright concerns. I am using original content that I am intending to copyright, but due to SmileBASIC's policy I can easily foresee problems that this will cause in the future.

Welcome to stupid.
I am using original content that I am intending to copyrightYou are already the copyright owner. The first rule of copyright club is that you hold the rights from the moment you create the work. Registration gives you more power over the rights and allows you to make legal cases and shit like that but you already own the entire game. What the gently caress does "intending to" mean? That being said, by releasing on an open platform like SB you acknowledge that you have little control over how your assets are from there on used, but that's still on you and not SmileBoom.
due to SmileBASIC's policyOhhhh yeeeeh. The policy of "don't violate intellectual property law because we don't want to get sued by the owneeeeeaaaaa." Either you missed the entire point of this rule, or you're intending to sue yourself for porting your game to SmileBASIC. With proper permission, and SmileBoom being generally aware of it, there's no problem with using otherwise unoriginal works.See Bub
I can easily foresee problems that this will cause in the future.Even if it WAS a problem, SmileBoom has to KNOW that something is being violated. You're assuming that your game (starting later on whatever other platforms than SB) is popular enough that someone could falsely recognize it being "stolen." And even then, all you have to do is say you ARE the owner. See Bub like before.

apparently you know nothing about being a rights holder
nothing is necessary beyond "I was the person who made this" and being able to prove it

everything falls under Japan's copyright lawsThus proving you have read neither. Japanese legal code makes very similar provisions as that of the United States. What's being controlled here isn't the ability to publish your game, by action of SmileBoom: the only real restriction is that by choosing to publish with SmileBASIC you lose some control over reproduction of the material, which is for you and you alone to decide to accept.
in the USA, you have to include the word copyright, the year, and the owner's name.No written notice is necessary, it simply makes it clear that you intend to exercise ownership of the material. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Copyright#Copyright_notice If you want to make money off your games, just don't make them in SmileBASIC in the first place.
