This is really interesting, would you mind explaining how it works? I studied the code and did not understand it from first glance. After using it for a while, it seems as if you can type nothing ("") repeatedly, and it will return a strange pattern of the things you said. I'm amazed how well it works, for such a small amount of code
But it makes up new sentences over time!! That's the part that amazed me Oh so does it remember what word combinations go together best?

Cool program! here is my first conversation with the bot. Me:Hi Bot: ... Me: I am OK Bot: Hi Me: I am bored Bot: I am OK Me: I am tired. Bot: I am bored Me: Who are you? Bot: I am bored Me: Hahahaha Bot: I am bored Me: Well so am I. Bot: I am bored Me: Stop repeating what I say!!! Bot: Who are you? Me: I am a human. Bot: I am bored
So it must have remembered that the word combination "I am" gives the result "I am bored"...?

It doesn't ever modify anything, only repeat what you've said basically it's not as smart as you think

Thank you so much. :]

I discovered that there was a bug in this program, causing it to just basically pick random responses. So any bit of intelligence you thought you saw was just luck.

Wow this is cool, even years later, at first it makes no sense but as you build up words and phrases you can sort of have a jumbled up conversation, I somehow managed to get married to it. I canโ€™t be trusted
