What if it's only for 0.1 sec?

...

Oh and recently it became available again. Everyone still on 10.6 should downgrade to 9.2.

How are you able to install CFW afterwards, all I get is a bsod when I load up Pasta in 9.2.0-20U

Gbatemp

Don't use pasta, pasta is outdated. Now rx-tools is now integrated with pasta.

Is there a tutorial online you can lead me to using rxPasta? Trying to figure this out is confusing especially since I just got 9.2

Ahem, Rxtools (not rxpasta xD) is a alternitve firmware which is basically a whole nother 3ds on your sd card. Goto gbatemp goto the 3ds section of the forums and goto tutorials and FAQ's then goto rxtools tutorial...

First thing you want to do is get your SD card ready, get the gateway launcher and create an emunand (I believe the option is called format emunand). This will format everything on your SD card, so be prepared. BTW it would make sense that it would be in Gateway's best interest to prevent RXtools from working, so if you can't get it done with the latest version try something like the 3.0 version. What I do because it's the most simple though there are other options, I use the browser exploit method to boot into rxtools. After you make it into emunand make sure you're actually in it by going to system settings and checking the firmware number. If it says rxs something, then you are not in emunand. If there's an E in the firmware, you are in emunand, and from there you can update your 3ds. This won't update your 3ds, just your emunand. Note that as soon as you exit the system settings you will automatically be booted out of emunand. It's a good idea to create a folder in your emunand and a different one in your system nand so you can easily tell them apart. BTW signature checks are removed automatically, so you just have to install FBI to get a CIA installer. There's a tool in rx-tools that will install fbi, but you have to have a couple additional files in their correct folders. It's very finicky but the end result is very worth it.

Now I use arm9loaderhax for the ultimate 3ds hacking experience.

Well how the freak are you supposed to get homebrew if you updated to 10.6.... Browser hax nor menuhax work.... also 10.7 came out.

Use ninjhax or oothax.

Yeah and nothing was patched on 10.7. You have 3 options: 1. Ocarina of Time and another 3DS capable of running the homebrew launcher 2. Cubic Ninja (super rare and expensive) 3. Sky3DS witha Cubic Ninja rom in the micro SD

Uh, there's a fourth: Sky3DS with OoT and a modified save.

And there's always smashhax. But that's n3DS only and requires linux. Still, if you're desperate... I've done it before. Thankfully my house has multiple computers with linux.

There's no need to put yourself on a pedestal. Linux isn't designed to be purposefully hard and many of them are easier than OSX to use. I assume these are terminal only, but that's still nothing to be scared of.

Oh, sorry you interpreted it that way. I was trying to convey how hard it was for me. I tried a VM and bought a USB adapter; that didn't work. I then tried two computers with linux; the second one I tried worked. It took a week or two maybe to get it working. Linux wasn't the hard part - getting a compatible wifi chip/dongle was.

1st. Whats ropbin for? can i install homebrew via that? 2nd. Cubic Ninja rom+sky3ds?

1.No, its just a payload homebrew sometimes uses.
