Strange server in maintenance message

I was going to download a beta of Windows3DS, but suddenly, a strange message in the bottom screen said "The server is currently on maintenance. Please try again later????? ¶1¶" Something like that. Someone knows what it means?

"Maintenance" means the server is being worked on. Sometimes companies have to take down servers for a bit, to make sure that everything is working right or fix problems. Just wait a bit and try downloading again later.

Oh, but it scared me a lot because I thought they were closing the servers...
