prg filesCOULD YOU add the option of adding prgs (from smileos's folder) onto the desktop?Ehh... like the exe file, or are you talking about the prg/txt files?
Well, the next update is released for 3.3, another thing too; I am redesigning the desktop to look like GNOME; for people who don't know what GNOME is, here it is :P https://www.gnome.org/

Okay, version 3.3 is released, so, time to start doing STUFF. So far, I've worked on the GNOME desktop and did a whole lot of fixes, now you can make a much lengthier window space, and I will be releasing a PDF on the weekend or something containing everything I've planned for this update. Small things that have been suggested will be added, they will just be the BIG things.
Ummm... I don't understand, why would you want to put the TXT files on the desktop. I may make a desktop folder or something but I'm not getting into thisprg filesCOULD YOU add the option of adding prgs (from smileos's folder) onto the desktop?Ehh... like the exe file, or are you talking about the prg/txt files?
If you use the smile-tool, you are capable of modifying files from other projects. This might be useful for the file explorer.
Hmm? How can you modify file from other projects? If you use the smile-tool, you are capable of modifying files from other projects. This might be useful for the file explorer. In recent updates, I optimized SmileOS for the Smile button actually.
This is not possible, sorry. There is no way to do thisIf you use the smile-tool, you are capable of modifying files from other projects. This might be useful for the file explorer.Hmm? My files highlight when the back of the cursor is over it and not the tip of the cursor. Is there a way to fix this?
Whenever you try to boot in developer mode "SMILE /D" you get an "UNDEFINED LABEL" error message. Did you take out the debug mode?
I have both negative comments and positive comments about the new update (0.1.7.5)
Negative (Because like I always say, gotta eat your veggies before desert)
- The MATE start menu is kinda buggy, but minor
- When trying to open sub directories, the file manager closes
- Scrolling is buggy (I think you already know this one)
- I was really confused why the HELP command in SDos didn't work and had to go into the code to find out why it didn't (didn't know it just executed pure SB commands, maybe put it in Ch3 in the manual)
- Finally, A settings application to maybe use the alternate cursors (that I know you have in there) and change the mouse sensitivity.
- I do like the change from the dock to the MATE start menu
- I like the fact that you even added scrolling
- COINMUSIC good, as always
- I love the bootloader
- Update process looks like it's going to be very easy (although you'll need to have two keys now, one for the full OS for first time users and one for the package, but this is still fine, just something for you to consider)
- Also I guess you are adding a settings window (just saw the code for it), please consider my suggestions.
- Finally, I still love the GUI and I generally like every update you've put out so far.
Shouldn't this be in "talk about programs" and not general? You're right, I'll move it.

Other stuff = WILL DO!!!Positive (YAY! Ice cream!)

Since I have liked the OS since I found it (forgot what version it was. Before the bootloader, I think), including all updates, please don't let my negative comments discourage you. I look forward to the next update. I'll probably post a review on every update I can from now on. //EDIT: Grammar Nazi'd myself
