SmileBasic and Citra emulator

I have SmileBasic working on the Citra Emulator on PC but that is as much time as I've had to mess with it due to work and projects. Has anyone gotten far enough to have this work well as a means to speed up development? It doesn't have a way to use your PC keyboard as the virtual keyboard... so, so far it's kind of useless as it still encrypts the data files to the emulators storage. I know I could setup a means to translate key presses to screen clicks but I don't really have time to do that ATM. Anyway, thought I'd ask here in case anyone thought it was interesting or worthy enough to look into.

If you type your code into a text editor, and then paste it into https://trinitro21.github.io to convert it, you can place it somewhere deep in the sdmc(?) directory (try saving a file in SB and find its location) and it will appear in SB. This could allow you to use your keyboard for typing it out but makes testing it more of a hassle so its usefulness is dependant on you.
