are pokemon type names copyrighted as in things like fire,water,dragon because i don't want a game i work on for hours being taken down. now bear in mind this is not a pokemon game and no where do i steal pokemon names or even moves or even names of items.

Well, the words used for pokemon types are pretty common, so I don't suppose that they'll be copyrighted.

I wouldn't count the specific names of the types as a central gameplay mechanic in Pokemon.

What kind of game are you going for? Will you be able to capture the monsters? So far I've just seen your battle menu on the miiverse and it looks pretty slick. Do you have a specific number of monsters in mind to complete your game? Will they "evolve"?

yes you will use cards to capture them it's a rpg similar to pokemon. I want as many monsters as i can fit in my game ,but for the demo probably 10 or 15.That i do not know yet they might "evolve" whitch is ok again i have seen that in tons of different pokemon clones so it should be fine.btw who are you on miiverse?

Strangely enough that's what I was going to suggest first but thought it sounded too much like kangaroo :p The s fixes that perfectly. He does kinda look like a giant day gecko, so I think it's a very fitting name.

Awesome! What kind of lizards do you keep? I've had a few savannah monitors and some leos. As a kid we had 2 iguanas as well. As soon as I buy a house I'm getting a Tegu. I love their personality and how calm they can be. I love lounging with a big lizard on my belly lol they cool me down and I heat them up. Win win.

chameleon,,crested gecko,and bearded dragon :) I made it from the crested gecko and the chameleon.
