Kitty in the City

This game is a demo but I am not sure if I will finish it anytime soon because of another, much more motivating project.

In this demo you must collect catnip (a currency) to get into the Kitty club while being pursued by a dog. After collecting 4 catnip, return to the alley to complete the demo.

Instructions:

Left stick/directional buttons: Move A: pressed/held= attack/auto attack B: toggle sprint on (press any other button to turn off) Move off the edge of the screen to transition into the next zone

3 catnip can be found on the map. 1 is dropped by the dog when you defeat him.

fighting strategy

The dog has 100 HP and you only deal 1 damage per hit. The left and right attacks reach further than up and down attacks. Get to the side of the dog, remain still while holding A, land two hits and move away.

restoring HP

You can restore lost HP by standing on trashcan BG tile, attack, and pick up the food that is dropped. You can't regain lives.
