Is there a better sprite editor?

The built in sprite editor doesn't seem to work very well. Changing colors is glitchy and just doesn't work half the time. If it weren't for the broken colors I wouldn't mind so much, but really the whole thing is just a mess. I'm SURE people have created better ones in order to make some of these amazing games. Does anyone know of a good sprite editor for SmileBASIC?

Yes, wait until this weekend and I'll release (a localized version of) one. One that's used by Magic Story's creator too.

A sprite editor similar to CHRED from PTC would be really useful, as it was so easy to use.

Wow, that'd be awesome!

On second thought, while I certainly can finish translating before this weekend, I'd like to ask the creator to release this for me. I'll redact the "will release this weekend" statement to "as soon as Suu Th. releases my version". This editor is so great, I used it to create my Ninja Solver game and never went back to the default Smile Tool. I promise that. Feb 26 Edit: I just finished translating and I submitted my version to the creator via this thread. S/he'll check if I missed/screwed up anything and reissue the key. Once that's done I'll post in the program list and we'll have a much more convenient (in my opinion) sprite editor!

Here's a tip to get the colors to work make the color change to a different color then change back.
