You need about 1.3 -2.0GB for the backup. Always backup "-min" size if you can. If you don't have that option, you may have to clear out 2GB worth of space! Glhf if you have a 4GB card, lol.
Try decrypt9WIP and see if that works, it has the same option. Make darn sure you have the needed space though, you could brick otherwise.
I kinda messed up...

Hey guys,
So yesterday I thought to myself: why not do the A9LH thingy with my New 3DS?
Good idea, right? Well, I messed up. As I was doing that, I didn´t realize that I needed to backup and restore my EmuNAND. So I went through all the steps until I reached the EmuNAND part. I can´t seem to back it up. There seems to be a bug in the Hourglass9 program. It says I have insufficient space, even though I have enough space left on my SD card.
Is it possible to back up all my SmileBASIC files to my pc without using my 3DS and restoring them later onto my 3DS? I tried everything I could to restore my EmuNAND, but everything fails...
Thanks in advance,
Raichu~

Wellp, the problem isn't that I don't have enough space. I have a 16 GB SD card with 11 GB free. It's just the program that says I don't have enough space. I think it's a bug. I'll try Decrypt9WIP and let you know if it worked or not.
SmileBASIC stores its files in extdata on the SD card. I believe the way the SD card works is that most all of the technical stuff stored on it is encrypted with a key unique and known only to your 3DS, so as long as you copy the files off and onto your SD card correctly, SmileBASIC should recognize it.
Yep, that worked! I succesfully installed A9LH and Luma3DS and I restored the EmuNAND. No files were lost in the process. I'm happy!
EDIT: No files except for my Petit Computer save file... I don't know how I should feel.
