I'm thinking of charging people for music comissions.
It won't be much, and it depends on what you want me to do (note: I haven't set anything in stone, I just need some money)
Sad adventurous music- 0.75$ (I've made these types of song for years)
Combat and battle themes- 0.50$(These basically use similar patterns to what I write)
Slowish Jazz- 0.50$ (I'm familiar with this genre, but not the most excited about it)
Faster Jazz- 0.35$ ( Familiar with, but not hyped about it)
Ubpeat rock- 0.15$ (Not my strongest area)
Happy Songs- 0.15$ (I usually go with darker music)
Does this sound like a good idea? If you want to know about my composition skill, look up M-Mowz on newgrounds.com.
Thanks!
I have a weird proposition...

Yeah, weird "jokes" do exist.
Disregarding the above posts, I say you should go for it, but I think you should have waay higher prices, cuz I can tell you spend a lot of time to make songs that I personally would listen to on a daily basis. Personally, I would start within the $10 - $25 range as your music is of a pretty high caliber.
A few tips (I'm a singer-songwriter myself so I know what I'm doing): I think adding some vocals and lyrics to some of your songs would be of benefit, as well as taking some notes from how other musicians compose their music, cuz the places in some songs that sound like they're leading up to a drop of some kind fall flat and return to the original beat, which is very dissatisfying. I would also add more elements to your songs because they can get quite repetitive at times. For now, you're at a good starting place and I see that you have the potential to reach for the stars.
Plz no vocalsLol yeah vocals are pretty weird... I think you should just price your music at whatever price you need since a few cents is close to minimal, not that that's bad. Besides, the lower the price the more people can afford it and the less people will want to not buy it etc. $10-$25 does seem a little high but yes your music is pretty good and if you need the money go for it.

On pricing, you could maybe charge by length or complexity of each song. Then again, that might be over complicating things.
Also, how do I change my profile name. I take it there's someone I have to ask?I think you have to PM Lumage
