I bricked my 3DS

The little ribbon cable might be the one for the speakers and 3D control. The 3DS won't boot if it doesn't find the speakers.

Why the speakers? That seems like not a big thing to miss, unless it is important circuit wise or something like that...

Yeah, the problem is probably a microtear within the sound ribbon. I think that's the main thing that sends data to the top screen or something, idk really. Also, 3D is a very important part of a 3DS. But once you take that ribbon out, there's not much use trying to get any sound ribbon back in. _{im talking in the sense that this ribbon is orange and not black because if it is black i'm a stupid}

You could buy a broken one maybe if you're lucky for cheap, doubt you can buy just that part. On another note why would you put it under your pillow?

Ribbon cables are very fragile; just one pull too hard on it can damage it.

The left hinge was broken so it can move freely on that side.

Hahaha! No. At this point I might as well throw it at a wall and burn it. I'll just scrape up some money and get a New 3DS at some point.

then burning the ashes right lol :) i felt like doing that after 3 monthes of shiny hunting then realizing i used my last master ball lol :( i killed it in battle nooooo
