how do I make map collision (Jelpi 3DS beta)

So I am porting Jelpi to the 3DS,I need some help on this

And do I load maps?

Help me out here, are out talking about this Pico-8 program https://www.lexaloffle.com/bbs/?tid=1810? If so, how do I get to see the Lua code? I think the maps, spites, and sounds are kind of specific to Pico-8 aren't they (assuming that is what you are even looking at). Might be able to translate LUA to SmileBasic if the code isn't too fancy. I tried downloading your code, and it looks like the background and sprite files were not included. Also, no goto loops please. Jumping into the middle of a function with goto is a bad idea and could cause strange behavior. If you want an infinite loop while true/wend is better. Instead of GOTO inside of the screenalert function, just call the start game function after you call the screenalert function.
