Halloween / Horror Programming Contest 2017

Used up the entire weekend working... but Oz Mode is almost ready! You get twice as many Clues and Tools, but in exchange the Bear joins forces with a Lion and a Tiger. You have to trap all three to win, and if any one of them catches you by surprise, it's game over. (You'll need to win a few normal games before it unlocks.)

I would enter a Halloween based game that i am making, but i just started work on it yesterday, so I'm more than sure that i won't finish it.

For all those concerned about not getting finished on time, I for one won't disqualify an unfinished game when it comes time to vote. I'd rather vote for something fun, creative, and unfinished than a boring, finished, bug-free one. I know it's a time crunch, but don't let perfection get in the way of something good

Hey, Josiah here! I would like to officially announce my new game I am producing. It doesn't have a name yet so feel free to leave an idea. This new game is a boss fight like genre. It has many interesting features including wall grind and a dash feature for the character. A nice sword swing when on the ground and a sword strike when in the air. Also one really nice feature in this is that it can be played multiplayer up to 2 players. I hope you will all enjoy it once it is finished -Josiah If I can learn how to post pictures on this site I will do so.

ill just tel you how, (depending on what devise you are on) (first, assuming your on a computer) theres some buttons on the top of where you type, press the one with the picture of a camera, then copy the link of the picture you want and put it there. if your not on computer and dont see those buttons you can also do , but it takes more time lol. anyways im quickly making a title screen and the menus.

heres my newest updates: pause menu is done finally! minimap is also done and shows what room you are in and i lost a large chunk of a scene that i have to redo so ill be really crunched EDIT: i found the code i lost lol.

Things are wrapping up for Super Bearland - spending the next couple days playtesting and polishing. Each round lasts only about 5 minutes, but there are lots of secrets, surprises, and unlocks - so I'll be releasing it on October 25th to give you more time to search for them. Happy hunting! yeah i'm not pressured to release it early and i most likely wont lol, though i am pressured to finish it. i have finished the bulk of stuff, i just need some more sprite, story and some bg tiles. i wanted this game to be made in a way that i could build it as i go and i think i did that mostly up to this point, because of conflicting events lol. anyways yeah that makes sense for you to post it early lol, plus you already have enough to release it. (oh and i need to do saving oops)

and with one small post all my chances of winning were erased from existence though i have two questions, 1, in the picture there there are boarders filled in but in the key you gave they are not. and the other is pressing reset.. did you mean for it to crash the 3ds or is this just a mistake..? cause it does crash it btw EDIT: i was joking about you not knowing about crashing btw. (i know this too well)

1- The old 3ds is VERY slow so the only way to compensate is to enable wire-frame and make the game run at 30fps instead of 60fps. 2- The res... oh... NVM
