BASICCreated:
GDPR is a regulation which gives citizens of the European Union (EU) several rights related to their online privacy. Among these is the "right to be forgotten", which gives them the right to request that a website delete their data. They are NOT required in any form to give justification. If the people running the website are aware of the request and knowingly don't comply then there can be serious consequences, such as large fines. FAQS: -Who has the rights outlined in GDPR? All citizens of the European Union -Do websites which aren't run by citizens of the EU still required to follow these rules? Yes! If a website serves citizens of the EU then they are required to be in compliance.
