Dating Sim - Voulunteer Thread

I'm making a Dating Sim, I wanted to ask anyone if they wanted to Volunteer with anything like Drawing, Character Building, Writing, or Ideas. If you want to draw the Art Style will be very similar to this: There will be guys and girls so, it would be nice to have more than 1 person writing for the game. Also all the drawings must be very consistent. So either Draw well or dont stray too far from the source. I haven't yet decided on the total number of people yet but I think 8 is a nice number. Please tell me if you'd like to help me at all please any help is much appreciated!

Hi, I'm sorry to say this so directly, but you're not ready to start such a big project. Here are some points that may explain my point.

• Referring to your latest works, you only know simple commands such as printing and using sprites. To start a big project, you need to understand a wide range of commands and have experience.
• According to your request, you're unable to get the graphics you need for the project. This will quickly stop you, and I'm not sure why I even need to tell why: nobody in this community has good sprite art skills. Even if someone proves me wrong, be aware that you will need a good reputation if you want others to work for you.

In conclusion, err, sorry. I'm telling you it's impossible because I also (and not only once) had that kind of dream project, when it's actually impossible without further experience and skills. You should try working on something less complicated. EDIT: In case you'll think your idea isn't a "big project", think again of everything you'll need to program.

I can do the art myself, I just want others to know that if they can help it will be greatly appreciated.

Keep in mind that these guys nay-saying your ability to make this game are by no means putting you down. They had to learn all the things that they are telling you that you will had to learn. Eventually, you will be able to make something like this. Its simply a matter of time. Dont get sad. Get motivated. Make sure you plan out your game on paper before coding it. You will need to visualize ALL the things you will need to make a great game. Learn those things individually. Then make something combining them. You will get there eventually. But their time frames are also a realistic representation of how long it will take you. This is going to take months of dedication. You can do it.

I can do art and writing if needed but I can't source code the project.
