Thanks guys.
LacksAgency: your "note to self" has made my day... seriously.
Lumage: Thanks for the validation: I really did draw the assets by hand (on the most excellent smilebasic tool). My sense is that if I went to the trouble to un-GRYUSS-ify them the gameplay would still be too close for someone's comfort. If there is some precedence for petitions - I would be interested in hearing about that.... but will move on nonetheless.
glennxserge: Thanks for the support. My sense is that this is a good lesson for what could happen if you cross the line on a clone. Looks like that Wizard of Wor idea I had needs to go on the back burner now ;)
Final note: this community is really cool. I've learned a lot from reading the posts of others... and appreciate the support.

This is a clone of Konami's GYRUSS from 1983. Stages are built all the way to Earth (including "chance" stage). My goal was to learn SmileBasic while creating a fun game to play.
This game looks really nice! It's sad that I didn't download it in time. Stupid SmileBoom moderators :P
You didn't need to make a double post, though.
Thx for the request dizzy dude... but the game was taken down for copyright infringement
The assets are original.
So it was the game itself?
Yes. The game, in play, is a clone of Gyruss. Also, it probably looked too good to be original, so SmileBoom may have made a mistake.
